PixClear® allows for precise light management in next generation display applications where performance requirements are being pushed to their physical limits. Our materials can be utilized to tune the refractive index (RI) between multiple- mismatched layers in various OLED, MicroLED, and QD display applications. The ability to optimize the index-match allows for:

  • Reduced Heat Output
  • Less Diffraction
  • Minimized Reflection
  • Lower Absorption

Pixelligent’s high refractive index (HRI) nanocrystals made by our patented PixClearProcess® for displays are optimized to be compatible with various monomers and resins, delivering a refractive index from 1.65 to 2.0+. In addition, the nanocomposites do not negatively impact haze values. Our PixClear® materials are compatible with existing manufacturing processes, including inkjet print, nanoimprint, photolithographic, and dispensing process equipment.

When deployed in OLED display applications, our PixClear Products have the potential to deliver up to 84 gigawatts of power savings annually.
