Pixelligent Awarded CRADA With Oak Ridge National Laboratory for Roll-to-Roll Fabrication of OLED Devices
Pixelligent Technologies announced today it has entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Entering into this CRADA allows Pixelligent to further optimize materials and formulations to demonstrate improved performance and cost for roll-to-roll manufacturing, including for OLED devices.

Pixelligent Technologies Joins the Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center at RPI
Pixelligent Technologies announced today that it has joined the Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center (ERC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The ERC is a research, innovation and educational organization that focuses on future lighting systems that will improve health and productivity and save energy at the same time. As a member of the ERC, Pixelligent will have access to the RPI faculty, as well as the Center’s world-class testing and characterization infrastructure.

Pixelligent Technologies Granted Innovation Research Award by Department of Energy for Next Generation OLED Lighting
Pixelligent Technologies announced today that it has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grant by the Department of Energy (DOE). The nine-month, $150,000 program will enable Pixelligent to accelerate the development of its nanoadditives for use in OLED lighting. As part of this program, Pixelligent will partner with OLEDWorks LLC, a leading OLED lighting company.

Pixelligent Technologies Signs Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Department of Energy
Pixelligent Technologies has signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Argonne National Laboratory. Research conducted under the CRADA will allow Pixelligent to determine the impact of its advanced nanocrystal dispersions on improving the tribological properties of industrial and automotive lubricants. Initial results have shown that Pixelligent’s technology could significantly reduce parasitic energy losses – ultimately helping to improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
